Star Wars Baby Shower

We had our baby shower last Saturday at my mom's place. It was a big noisy party with lots of yummy food, friends, music, baby clothes and star wars action figures. We had the most amazing cake mabe by Laura of Blossom Cakes.

 

It was a great party! We tried very hard to keep it from becoming too much like a traditional ladies only, tiny sandwich party by inviting husbands and boyfriends and having it the evening with lots of beer, wine, music and tons of food. We chose a theme that was fun and silly and true to our personalities. We had a 50/50 baby pool for $5 and also rented out the amenity building at my mom's so that if anyone got bored they could go over and play pool.

I love this little baby blanket and will be ordering it for sure in these colours if we have a baby girl. If it's a boy I am leaning towards the adorable mustache print items!

 

 

 

 

I love the prints in this shop, not just the Star Wars ones. They are all colourful and simple.

 

This shop has onsies, shirts and bibs with adorable sewn on characters that look just like those from various films and shows such as Star Wars, Anchorman and the A-Team. Plus the names of these look-a-like characters are entertaining enough to visit the shop "Boba Felt" and "Handy Solo" are just two of my favourites.
